Watch out for the bus today
IT’S all aboard the Boris Bus for the Hillingdon Safer Transport team today (Thursday) as they travel round the borough promoting their services.
Officers from the team visited key sites aboard a branded Routemaster bus, to meet people and talk about their work.
They have responsibility for tackling crime and anti-social behaviour on the bus network in Hillingdon.
Sgt David Turner said: “Members of the public will have the chance to speak to officers and discuss issues that concern them about travelling in Hillingdon.”
He hopes events such as this will help increase confidence in police response to bus crime.
