A NEW sculpture provided by Hillingdon Council was unveiled yesterday (Thursday) at Ruislip Lido.
It consists of a circle carved from twisted grained oak that takes the Lido's natural environment as its theme.
Located on Willow Lawn, it stands at frames views of the Lido and surrounding woodland.
It’s carved with images of fish and crested grebes and is in keeping with the peaceful atmosphere of the Lido.
The sculpture was created by wood Tom 'Carver' Harvey, who has also made artwork for the Open University and Norman Leddy Memorial Gardens in Hayes.
