CAZ FORBES and Ste Moncrieff will perform English folk music in their own unique style at Uxbridge Folk Club next Thursday, April 30.

Now living in London, Ste is originally from Liverpool and Caz from Australia, and their songs often have links to their travels or to the sea.

From beguiling ballads to stomping shanties, they engage audiences with their own distinctive style, firmly rooted in a love of the English tradition.

They have been regulars on the folk club scene in London and beyond and have developed a lot since they were first seen at Uxbridge.

In support are Bearwood, a Berkshire trio who mix traditional and original material in an entertaining way.

Uxbridge Folk Club www.tinyurl.com/uxfolk meets twice a month on a Thursday at Uxbridge Royal Naval Association, 388a Long Lane, Hillingdon UB10 9PG (2 mins from Hillingdon Tube Station).

Music starts at 8pm with a support act, followed by the headline artists at 8.45. Everything finishes at 11pm.

Entrance is £8.00 on the door (Students £3). Tickets can also be bought in advance at http://www.wegottickets.com/event/314284
