A BEAUTIFUL and brave Uxbridge model took home the tiara in the Miss Inspiration beauty pageant last weekend.

Kerri Parker, 32, won Ms Inspiration – the over 30s category of the contest – which celebrates women who are inspirational as well as beautiful.

The former playboy model of Elthorne Road was delighted with winning the crown.

She said: “I was really surprised. It took me five minutes to realise they were talking to me.”

The beauty queen was diagnosed with brain cancer two years ago, but was back to compete within three months with a smile and a wave to the audience.

Kerri may have won the over 30s category, but says that she still feels like a Miss.

She said: “Most of the girls there thought I was in the younger category.

“I suppose there is a different category to stop people over 30 having to compete with 16 and 17 years olds – but I still would if I could”

With her latest success, Kerri is now planning TV appearances and interviews about what she has gone through over the last few years, as well as continuing with her charity work.
