FIVE commitments to residents are made in Hillingdon’s four-year Council Strategy, which was agreed at last night’s (17) full council meeting.

The strategy for 2022-2026 identifies: safe and strong communities, thriving, healthy households, a green and sustainable borough, and a digital-enabled, modern, well-run council.

The draft strategy was consulted on during the summer, when residents, partners, businesses and community groups had their say.

More than 350 responses were received, and comments were largely positive.

Council leader Ian Edwards, said: “This document sets out our course for the next four years and provides us with an over-arching framework for council policy, business planning and performance management.”
