PATIENT and carer working groups are being formed to help support the new Elective Orthopaedic Centre for NW London – and people in Hillingdon can get involved.
Following the decision to bring together most routine in-patient orthopaedic surgery in in a new centre of excellence at Central Middlesex Hospital, the next step will involve input into how the centre will work.
The first topic under discussion is transport, journey times, complexity and cost. This topics was raised during the 13-week consultation period.
