FOR its next performance, Hillingdon Philharmonic Orchestra invites you to a concert of film music from some of the best-loved family movies.
Children are welcome at this special hour-long performance that should have all the family humming along.
What are your favourite family film soundtracks? Perhaps you like Let it Go with Anna and Elsa in Frozen, or to set sail on the high seas with Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean.
Maybe you are more of a space adventurer who likes the heroism of Star Wars or prefer to sing along with Beauty and the Beast. The concert will include music from all these films and also The Greatest Showman and Wicked.
Hillingdon Philharmonic Orchestra has more than 60 registered members, having performed a wide repertoire of works over the years.
In addition to concerts at venues throughout Hillingdon, the group has also performed at London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall and Southwark Cathedral.
Family Film Favourites will be led by Lucy Cumming and conducted by the founder of the orchestra, Peter J. Williams.
